The Sundowner Café

19/09/2026

ANNOUNCEMENT

Unfortunately the Sundowner Cafe will not be re-opening until after the New Year.

Life often comes at you fast and out of nowhere. Our family find themselves suddenly grappling with the big C. We're still keen to continue our journey of good food, excellent coffee, and warm hospitality with you, our friends & customers, but understandably we're a little distracted at the moment.

Treasure your loved ones this Christmas. We'll see you all in the New Year. 🫶

To all our customers and friends:
The Sundowner is closing for winter.

Hope to see you when we reopen Thursday 1st October.

Stay warm. Grant and Di

It was our pleasure today to meet an incognito Tony and Nina. They came into the cafe for coffee where they discovered Michael Menager was playing. They knew Michael and so all was revealed. All called it "serendipity" and we were happy to play our part

And voilá! The roasted vegetables became our Winter Veg Soup.

Served with our own sourdough, and a dollop of sour cream, unless you prefer to have it gluten free, dairy free and/or vegan, then just as it is
