Beyond the celebrations, Ethnic Mosaic multicultural group also provide vital support networks for individuals who have embarked on journeys of migration, whether as immigrants, refugees, or descendants of such experiences. We are working to offer a sense of belonging and understanding, helping members navigate the challenges of adapting to new environments while preserving their cultural identities. We pledge to work tirelessly to raise awareness about issues that impact their members, striving to eliminate discrimination, promote social equality, and foster an environment where all can thrive. Join us for our first Pasifika Workers Network gathering—a space to connect, share, and strengthen our collective impact across Moreton Bay.

This is where we will:
🌺Share the work we’re doing across different sectors
🌺Identify gaps and opportunities in our communities
🌺Exchange insights, knowledge, and lived experience
🌺Begin building a strong Māori & Pasifika workers alliance

This gathering is for:
Community workers, youth workers, health professionals, educators, cultural leaders, grassroots organisers, and anyone working with or alongside Māori & Pasifika communities.

OUR FIRST EVENT FOR 2026

Moana — in many Polynesian languages — means ocean, or the sea.

For our ancestors, Moana was not just something to sail —
it was how we found our way.
It guided navigation, held knowledge, and sustained life.

Across cultures, people have always returned to water
to release what’s heavy and to begin again.

This Ocean Blessing is a collective gathering by the Moana —
a moment to pause, breathe, and gently place whatever you’re carrying into the ocean.

Whether you come seeking clarity, healing, renewal or simply stillness,
the ocean meets everyone where they are.

What to Expect
- Arrival and grounding
- Sound therapy
- Guided reflections
