Third time's a charm! AFL Gather Round is back in our backyard next April and we're ready to up the ante!

Barossa Park will play host to
🏉Gold Coast Suns v GWS Giants – Saturday 10 April
🏉 Geelong Cats v St Kilda Football Club – Sunday 11 April

We'll be rolling out the best Barossa hospitality when thousands of fans head our way, and after the game on Saturday, we'll keep the party going at the Barossa Food & W**e Village in Tanunda on Saturday night (4pm-10pm), with the some of the best food, w**e, drinks and entertainment the region has to offer.

Stabilisation and sealing works on Nicolai Road, Bethany are scheduled to begin on Monday, 26 October.

🚧 Nicolai Road will be closed during these works and traffic control and detours will be in place:

• Northern detour: Traffic will follow Bethany Road and utilise Biscay Road.
• Southern detour: Traffic will follow R***e Range Road and utilise Biscay Road.

👚Set your clothes free was a huge success last year and it's coming back on Saturday, 31 October!

Clean out your closets and give your clothes a second chance at life when we partner with Green Industries SA for their FREE clothing donation and linen recycling event. 👖

🚗 Council's Nuriootpa office car park is the local drop off site and will be accepting donations of good quality clothing and footwear from 9am to 3pm to be resold at The Valley Red Cross Op Shop in Angaston.

Low-quality textiles, including clean clothing, footwear and household linens will also be taken to be recycled. ♻️

Another milestone reached for the Barossa Creative Industries Centre project in Tanunda!

The transformation to build a creative heart for the Barossa is becoming more visible following the final concrete pour last week, setting the stage for the arrival of structural steel this week.

The Barossa Creative Industries Centre is jointly funded by the Australian Government's Growing Regions Program and the State Government's Open Space Grant Program.
