The NSW Rural Assistance Authority (RAA) provides tailored access to financial assistance to help regional and rural businesses and communities in NSW deal with challenges and change.

How do I access information relating to my business in the RAA Portal?

All RAA Accounts are created for individuals. To help protect business information and ensure access is only provided to authorised individuals, you'll need to complete a few simple steps to link your personal account to a business account:

✅ Create a personal RAA Account
✅ Log in using the Service NSW option
✅ Complete the Verification of Identity task
✅ Submit an Account Access Request via the Support page

Once your request has been assessed and approved, you'll be granted access to the business's Financial Account information within the portal.

Access to information and functionality within the RAA Portal is based on the steps you've completed and the level of access you've been approved for. This helps protect privacy and ensures sensitive information is only available to authorised individuals.

There are three levels of access within the RAA Portal:

👤 RAA Account Holder
You've registered an RAA Account and can access your personal information and basic portal features, including submitting applications and claims.

✅ Verified RAA Account Holder
You've registered an RAA Account and successfully completed the Verification of Identity process through Service NSW. This is an important step that must be completed before we can consider linking your personal account to a business account.

👥 Verified, Associated RAA Account Holder
You've registered an RAA Account, completed Verification of Identity, and had your Account Access Request approved. This confirms your relationship to a business and provides access to additional business account information and portal functionality.

Why have I been assigned a Verification of Identity task in the RAA Portal?

If you log in to your RAA Account using the Service NSW Log In option, a Verification of Identity task will be assigned to your account.

Verification of Identity is optional for most RAA customers, but it is required if you want to apply for an RAA loan or access business information in the RAA Portal.

Identity verification helps:
✅ Protect your information
✅ Confirm authorised individuals can access business information
✅ Unlock additional account information and portal features

Please note: If your verification is incomplete, unsuccessful, or expires after two years, some account information and portal functions may be restricted until verification is completed.

At 4pm today, the Special Disaster Relief Grant for the NSW East Coast Severe Weather event will close to claims.

If you were approved for this program and have not yet submitted claims for your full approved amount, you must lodge any remaining claims by 4pm (AEST) today.

The RAA Portal has been designed to make it easier to manage your applications, claims and account information in one convenient place. Here's a quick guide to the main menu options:

🏠 Home – View tasks assigned to you and start a new grant or loan application.

📄 Applications – Track submitted applications and view details relating to your submissions.

✅ Approved Assistance – View Financial Account details for approved grants and loans.

💰 Claims – Submit claims and track their progress.

📋 Tasks – View open and completed tasks, including Verification of Identity, requests for information, and credit check consent requests (for loan applications).

🛠️ Support – Submit and track requests, including linking your personal account to a business account, updating contact or business details, and lodging general enquiries.

You can now:

✅ Log in using your existing Service NSW account
✅ Create a new RAA account using your Service NSW credentials
✅ Verify your identity through Service NSW
✅ Benefit from enhanced functionality and security measures

If you prefer, you can continue signing in the same way you always have, using your username and password, with email authentication.
