We're getting serious at Storytime now, focusing on Maths Skills, Literacy and School Readiness. Several of our children are off to 'Big School' next year and they are more than ready. Early Literacy programs at Parkes Shire Library are FREE and help prepare your children for lifelong learning.

👉 Iconic 75: Taking a Bow - Catch the final days of this fantastic exhibition in the Coventry Room before it closes! Last day Saturday 14. Free, no booking required.
👉 Connecting the Dots - Keep an eye out as Parkes Shire Council films across the Shire over three days to capture promotional footage! It’s all about celebrating the amazing people, activities, and organisations that bring our community together.
👉 Red Cross Emergency Redi Workshop – Learn how to prepare for disasters and create your personal RediPlan. Free, bookings essential.
👉 Storytime Party! - Our big end-of-year celebration with Christmas fun for kids heading off to big school! Free, bookings essential.
👉 Mocktails & Masterpieces - Sip delicious mocktails, enjoy yummy nibbles, and unleash your inner artist at Marramarra Makerspace for ages 18 to 25. $10, spots are limited—book via Humanitix!
