NSW Police Force Youth Command

Senior Constable Leonie Durham and Constable Shane Jansen attended the Careers Expo Inner Sydney High School as part of the “You Should Be a Cop” recruitment campaign.

The event was a great success, with strong interest from students keen to learn about policing careers and many parents taking the opportunity to ask questions about recruitment pathways, training, and career opportunities within the NSW Police Force.

We had a fantastic time at Lake Munmorah Public School on Wednesday, 10 June, celebrating “Thank a First Responder Day.”

It was great to meet so many enthusiastic students, answer their questions, and talk about the important role first responders play in keeping our community safe.

Tuggerah Lakes Crime Prevention Team attended Gorokan Preschool today as part of their First Responders Week. The children participated in conversations about safety, got to dress up in police uniform and have their fingerprints taken.

The children met our Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer, and police from NSW Police Force Youth Command and Traffic and Highway Patrol Command who showed them a patrol car up close and surprised them with the loud siren! 🚨
