There will be a Garden Day at Mays Hill Cemetery on next Sunday 22nd September from 10am to 2pm. 🌺 Please wear enclosed shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen, water and gardening tools (some available).
There will be an optional delicious BBQ lunch for $10. Looking forward to seeing everyone who can make it. 😀

Please see the flyer below for the Combined Cemeteries meeting on the 18th May at Linnwood House, Guildford at 1pm. Many thanks to Linnwood for allowing us to have the meeting there.
We are very lucky to have a wonderful speaker, being Dr Lisa Murray who will be giving a fascinating talk on the Cemeteries of the Sunshine Coast.
There will also be interesting reports by the various cemetery groups and of course a delicious afternoon tea.

Our next Garden Day at the cemetery is on Sunday 28th April from 10am - 2pm !! Please bring hat, gloves, water and tools to do as much or little as you like to help tidy up the cemetery. An optional delicious BBQ will be available for $10.

I hope you all had a great Christmas and best wishes for 2024. This is a reminder of our next meeting on Saturday 17/2/24 at 1pm at the small Jones Park Hall.
Helen & Maureen from the Ryde District Historical Society will be speaking about their revised book on the Gladesville Hospital Cemetery. This very interesting book will be available for $25 if you would like one (exact cash would be helpful).

This Saturday the 16th of December is the Friends of Mays Hill Cemetery Christmas Meeting at 1pm at the small Jones Park hall, Mays Hill. Hear about the people responsible for Christmas songs, stories and who appeared in Christmas movies and then enjoy the party !! 🧑‍🎄🌲🥳 Bring a plate to share if you can.
