Our Greens candidate for Prospect, formidable Cumberland Councillor Sujan Selven

I'm running for Prospect.

Twelve years ago I put my hand up to represent this community. Today I'm proud to announce that I will be the Greens candidate for Prospect at the 2027 NSW election.

It has been twelve years of local campaigns, knocking on doors and showing up at community events, and this will be my third campaign for Prospect. In 2024, after two earlier attempts, I was elected as the first Greens councillor on Cumberland City Council, representing Wentworthville Ward.

Western Sydney has been my home since I came to Australia, and I now live in Toongabbie. Prospect is home to people from all over the world, and that is our greatest strength. Everyone belongs here, whatever language you speak, where you were born or how long you have lived here.

As a councillor and small business owner, I will back the local businesses that support our community, listen first and follow through.

Prospect deserves a representative who is on your side. I would be honoured to earn your support.

Introducing our excellent Greens Candidate for Parramatta.

I’m Liz Tilly, and I’m your Greens candidate for Parramatta at the 2027 NSW election.
I’m a translator, a transport advocate, and I currently manage a team at a second-hand store.

I love living in Parramatta, but I look around me and my friends and neighbours are struggling.

They’re either bouncing between expensive rentals, or paying painful mortgages. They have to juggle medical expenses with housing, electricity and transport costs.

It shouldn’t have to be this way. The Greens want to make living in NSW easier, cheaper and better.

You deserve better than how things are. I’m here to demand better for Parramatta.

People often ask me: why the Greens? 💚

Honestly, I never set out to be in politics. What I've always been passionate about is human rights. Around the world, and here at home.

What happened to Tamils in Sri Lanka in 2009 was called a moment when the world said never again. And yet, we've watched it happen again. And again. Most recently, and most horrifically, in Gaza.

In 2009, when the Tamil community was being massacred, the Greens were the only party in Australian parliament that took a moral stand and called it what it was. They've done the same with Palestinians. They stood up when others stayed quiet.

Along the way, I've had the privilege of meeting activists from Kurdish, Palestinian, Armenian, and Rohingya communities. Different stories, same fight. Different names on the memorials, same tears at the funerals. Same demand for justice.

When it came to choosing where to stand, the choice was easy.

I will always stand for what is morally right. Even when it's hard. Especially when it's hard.

That's why I'm a Green. 💚
