🔥 Embers can travel kilometers ahead of a fire front.

This footage shared by CFA South West from the 2003 Canberra bushfires is a powerful reminder of the real danger during a bushfire: ember attack.

Take a moment to watch and make sure your home is prepared this season.

A big thank you to the Paterson Community Builders Hub for having us over on Wednesday afternoon to chat about bushfire preparedness and addressing community bushfire complacency in our township. It was great to connect, share ideas, and answer questions about Ember Attack, Preparing your Home & Property & making a Fire Plan.

Preparing for fire season is a team effort, and seeing our community & neighbouring communities look out for one another like this is what Paterson is all about.

If you couldn’t make it on Wednesday or to our Get Ready events & would like a Fire Plan Kit or more information please reach to us or your local brigade.

PREPARE. ACT. SURVIVE 🔥
