🟠VICSES - Safe Working at Heights Course 🟠

Members from Victoria State Emergency Service came out to join us at the campus recently to complete their SWAH qualification with Instructors Keiran Loughman and Tristan Forster.

The wet weather didn’t stop the members from working hard and getting the task done!

This course ensures members of the community can get assistance with property damage in their time of need whether it be a tree causing damage to a roof, tarping on a roof needed to protect from the weather with heavy rain or winds damaging roof tiles or much more.

Well done to all of the participants on their new qualification. 🪢🪢

🔥PENSHURST FB - HOT FIRE DRILLS🔥

Our nextdoor neighbours came over for a night of BA skills maintenance, skills refreshing & new member skills recently.

Group Training Officer Adrian Straw & Vol Instructor Liam Kavanagh ran the night. BA members worked on their skills maintenance meanwhile the newer members to the brigade learnt a whole heap of skills from their seasoned fellow members.

The night included a skip fire extending to structure, car fire and to end the night a car into gas loading dock incident with multiple cylinders on fire as well as the gas bullet.

A great night had by all and a perfect example of how a quick night on the pad where just a couple of hours is given has huge knowledge outcomes for members.

Thanks for coming over to see us Penshurst! Champions 👏👏👏

🚨 CFA South West Region - Warden Training with PARCOR 🚨

A great day on Thursday with CFA staff from across the South West Region coming together at Penshurst for Warden Training with instructor Joel from PARCOR.

From the smiles on faces we’d say the PTA staff will be wanting to sign up for training to be on the back of a firetruck in no time.

Well done SWR 👏👏

🔥WINCHELSEA FIRE BRIGADE 🔥

What a day Winchelsea Fire Brigade had at Penshurst on Saturday!

☀️The sun was shining, the fire attack building was hot and the members worked hard.

🔥 A huge day filled with lots of search and rescue training, internal search tactics, dusting off the cobwebs and sharing skills.

What better way to do so than with their very own brigade member, Instructor Angus Rollinson running the day.

A huge thank you to the brigade for making their way across to see us! We look forward to having you back again next year.

Well done team! 👏👏
