Enjoy a greener commute along Winthrop Avenue as the new pedestrian and cycle-path, running from Aberdare Road to Stirling Highway, is open 🚴 🌳

The new path is an important step towards the creation of a fully connected cycling network for the City of Perth and wider metropolitan area, creating more inviting and safer streets to walk, wheel and ride.

The 1.2km path runs adjacent to Kings Park, connecting UWA and the QEII Medical Centre.

The City of Perth contributed $925,000 to the $1.85 million project, which is jointly funded by the State Government.
