International Womenโs Day (IWD) 2026 at HQ ๐
Today celebrates International Womenโs Day, held on 8 March each year. To mark the occasion, we held an onsite morning tea for staff this morning, providing an opportunity to come together, celebrate the contributions of women across our organisation and reflect on the
importance of advancing gender equality.
We were pleased to have Susan Barrera our Board member join us at the staff event and share a few welcome words in recognition of the day.
The theme Balance the Scales reminds us that equality is not about advantage for some; it is about dignity, safety and fairness for all.

The construction industry is stronger when everyone has a place to build their future.
Today on UN International Womenโs Day recognise the achievements of women across every industry โ including the growing number shaping the future of construction.
From the office to the worksite, women are contributing leadership, skill and innovation across the sector. Their work continues to strengthen an industry that quite literally builds our communities. Itโs also a moment to reflect on the progress made toward gender equality, while recognising there is still work to be done to create more inclusive and supportive pathways in construction.
๐ฝ๐๐ก๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ก๐๐จ reminds us that equality isnโt about advantage for some โ itโs about dignity, safety and fairness for everyone on and off the worksite.
