Earlier today, BCC students participated in the 2026 Walk for Reconciliation at Kings Park. This meaningful event provided a sensory journey through a place of deep cultural significance for the Noongar people.

The day began with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, offering students the opportunity to learn about and connect with Aboriginal culture, history, and traditions. Experiences such as these are designed to foster learning, curiosity, understanding, and respectful engagement both within our school and the wider community.

We are proud of our students for embracing this opportunity and representing the College with respect and enthusiasm.

Please ensure that you:
Collect your personalised OLNA testing schedule from your PCG teacher during Week 2.
Check the date, session, and test you are required to complete.
Arrive promptly at the IT4 testing room for each scheduled test.

Please see Mrs La Galia in the Main Admin office if you have any questions regarding your testing schedule.

On Friday, 16 October, more than 70 BCC students attended the SSWA Interschool Athletics Carnival at the WA Athletics Stadium in Floreat.

The students did not disappoint, representing the College with the utmost endeavour, grit, and sportsmanship.

There were some outstanding individual performances on the day, with 23 different students winning their events and well over half of our athletes finishing in the top three.

Three of our own also claimed Runner-Up Champion awards in their respective age groups: Yom A. (Year 8 Girls), Bodhi S. (Year 8 Boys) and Tate O. (Year 9 Boys).

The 4 × 100 m relays brought the carnival to a thrilling close, with all but one of our teams finishing on the podium.

Our Year 9 and Year 10 boys absolutely blitzed their rivals, winning both races by 30 metres or more!

It was an incredible day, and I could not be prouder of our athletes and the College's fantastic third-place finish.

I am already looking forward to 2027 and building on the amazing talent we have here at the College!

Thanks to our Dominic S. (Year 9) for the amazing photos.
