Co up the stairs on the oustide of the watertank to enjoy one of hte best panoramic views of the northern suburbs and coast. Kite flying at Mount Flora - What a windy day it was on Sunday at the museum. Perfect for flying kites! I spotted a dad with his two boys having a wonderful time with their kites zooming fast and high.

If you are visiting City of Stirling's administration building over the next two weeks make sure you look for our display.
These World War 1 artefacts are part of the Mount Flora Museum's collection. You will see a "death penny" (given to families of soldiers who died as a result of fighting), soldier badges, some trench art, and part of a scrapbook of newspaper clipping collected during the war. The lovely poppies have been crafted by the local community.

Here is a view of West Coast Drive......I wonder how many can recognise where this is? There is still a shop on this corner today but it looks very different. Can you guess the name of the corner street, and what shop is there today?
