Go behind the scenes at the West Metro Recycling Centre this Saturday!
We have a couple of spots left for our tours commencing at 9am and 11am. Come along to find out what happens to the contents of your kerbside bins, what to do with things that don't go in the bin, and how the items you bring to us get reclaimed and recycled.
Tickets $5. Morning tea is provided.

The WA Reuse Impact Study Report is out, and it's amazing to see the positive impact the reuse sector (which includes op shops and second-hand clothing shops) has on the environment.
If you shopped second-hand in 2024-25, you helped keep an estimated 14,000 tonnes of useable products out of landfill - how good! 🤩

Join us on Wednesday 8 April or Saturday 23 May and go behind the scenes at your local recycling centre. We'll explore what happens to the waste from your kerbside bins and how your household materials like cardboard, polystyrene, mattresses and e-waste get reclaimed and recycled.
