It’s a bit of a false start for Owen on today’s fishing trip when he finds himself with a bogged boat trailer! But this set-back is not going to ruin the day as the crew head out for a day of fishing. Today’s mission is to bring back dinner. Mackerel, snapper, trout – Owen is not fussed what they catch as long as it’s big enough for a feed. The fish are biting, but as many anglers know, in the waters off Broome you’re not just battling the fish, you’re up against hungry sharks too. It’s just another day on the job for Owen Douglas. But when your job is working on a crocodile farm, no two days are the same! Owen is giving us a glimpse of a day in his life as he conducts crocodile tours at the Malcolm Douglas Croc Park in Broome. His days are taken up a lot by feeding, and whether it’s the tiny new babies or the oldest and biggest crocs in the park, they all enjoy a good piece of chicken or two!
