This Certate SW 6000-P suffered a slight drama.

The last 10 TD Blacks I've had in were all suffering from the same issue....water entry causing internal corrosion.

It is best to avoid water contact with these reels as any form of water pressure will push the water inside.

The interesting thing is that the magseal oil is intact, but water has entered the clutch housing via other areas.

Pay attention to what goes on with your reel while out fishing.
It seems nowadays we need to take more care with our gear as it certainly does not last as long as it is used to under the same conditions.

This Caldia has copped some water inside the body.

If you want your reels to last then avoid saltwater contact, especially at pressure.
