Neat civillian attire.
Sorry team, the cadetnet is down and no one can access the activity to approve it. It’s too late to get things up and running now so we have no choice but to cancel tonight and definitely be there for next week.
Welcome back to another year of cadets!
Como is still to appoint new staff to Como Cadet unit so until we get the green light , please wait. There will be no parading until we get the OK from Battalion HQ but it shouldn’t be long. Stay tuned….

End of 2024 at 501 ACU, also farewell to two staff members who are transferring to the country with theirs or their partners civilian employment.
2nd Lieutenant (AAC) Ella Santoro, who has been both a cadet and a staff member at Como over the past ten years. Her and her family are moving to Newman in the new year.
2nd Lieutenant (AAC) Aaron Eckerman has also been both a Cadet and a Staff member at Como over the past eight years. Aaron has just been transferred to Merredin with his new employment.
They have both been an integral part of the 501 ACU family and they will be sadly missed.
Lastly, Captain (AAC) Wade Adams has stepped aside from being the Officer Commanding for the past eight years. It’s now time for a younger person to take the reins and take Como forward.
Capt (AAC) Adams is moving to another role within the Cadet Organisation.
There are new people coming into the Como family for 2025 and we wish them well.
Special thanks to Colonel Cam Waterman and Major (AAC) Sue Taylor-Grills and her staff for their attendance and assistance on the night.
