Greenwood Toy Library A not for profit community organisation that provides access to 100's of toys for local families.

We are located in Greenwood, Western Australia, and are open Thursdays from 7:30pm – 8:30pm and Saturdays from 9:30am – 10:30am. We are run by a committee of volunteers and the support of member families. Our Toy Library is a great way to:

• Try out new toys before you buy.

• Save money on toys that children quickly outgrow.

• Provide a variety of learning opportunities for your children.

• Meet families in surrounding areas with children of a similar age.

Have your say!

📢 Have your say to help shape the WA Play Strategy!

The WA Government wants to hear about your thoughts on what supports children’s play, what gets in the way, and what would help create more opportunities for children to play across WA through an online survey.

The survey is open to everyone. Whether you’re a parent, family or community member, educator or someone who works in a role that supports, influences or shapes children’s opportunities to play, your insight is valuable.

With the support of a trusted adult helping them, children up to eight years of age are especially encouraged to share what play means to them.

The survey is open until 11 November 2026.

We will be closed on Thursday for our AGM. We will back open on Saturday!

A272: Sequence Beads

Miss 2 has been enjoying threading different colours and shapes this week. A lovely activity for fine motor skills and opportunities to discuss colours, shapes, and patterns.

With our fabulous games collection - it's great to have these tips on hand to get through games night 🤣

One wants to build the tower. The other wants to knock it down. And that's okay, shared play doesn't have to look perfectly balanced to be doing its job.

Aimed at 5-9 year olds. Great for practising telling the time in both analogue and digital numbers. 2 ways to play.

My 6 year old did really well challenging himself with reading the time in both ways.

A great resource for our older minds.

TOY SPOTLIGHT

I101- Fairy Tale Wooden Building Set

This wooden fairy‑tale set invites children to step straight into a story. Through imaginative play, they experiment with language, characters, and simple narratives — all core foundations of early literacy. Story‑based play strengthens creativity, problem‑solving, and social skills, making literature a powerful springboard for learning in the early years.

C088: Popoids

🫧🧼🪣 these beauties have just been through the washing machine in a mesh washing bag to make sure they're sparkly clean. Now they're sitting in the sun to fully dry out.

✅️This is great for those construction toys with loads of parts and COMPLETE PIECES WITH NO JOINS OR STICKERS such as Duplo.

🚫 Definitely don't try for any toys with openings, joins or magnets. Always check the toy over fully before submerging in water!
