🌟Tonight marked another wonderful Joondalup Community Services Hub at . It was a joy to reconnect with our regulars and welcome new faces to the community.💕
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our local businesses and neighbours, we were able to offer essential relief to those who needed it most. Together, we provided clothes, shoes, toiletries, blankets, sleeping bags, toys, books, linen, food, alongside comforting services like warm showers, haircuts, pet food, animal health checks, and dog wash. 📚🎒🥕🐾💇♀️🚿
In addition to providing essential services and support, it was great to welcome Ryan Tyndall from who set up a space to chat with anyone looking for guidance on employment, building independence, and finding a sense of belonging in the community. 👥
🎄Jeff and Margie from the team also dropped by for a casual catch-up, sharing details and making connections for their upcoming FREE Christmas Day Lunch at Central Park. 🧑🎄
The evening was filled with simple comforts and meaningful connections. Over hot soup🥣, coffee☕, sausages sizzles🌭, and fresh cupcakes🧁, our visitors had a chance to pause, chat, and relax.🩵
Feedback from tonight's attendees highlighted the sense of safety and inclusion the hub provides. We strive to maintain a space where vulnerable individuals can access both practical aid and genuine human connection.🫶💙🩷
To Global Heart Church: thank you for opening up your space and allowing us create a welcome, safe, dignified space for our community.🌟🙏
We'll see you next month - October 15.
