⏰ We open every day 9.00-4:30 regardless of weather! All advertised experiences still run as normal - most of them are undercover so you’ll be able to enjoy them comfortably! Bring your umbrella or rain coat & gum boots to explore the rest of the park ☔️

Volunteer time isn’t given by one person alone. Behind every volunteer are loved ones who share their time, support their commitment, and cheer them on. To the families and friends who share these wonderful people with us - thank you. You are part of our community too. 💚

Banz is a Goodfellow’s Tree Kangaroo. They feed on leaves, flowers, fruits, insects, and sometimes eggs and small birds. They tend to avoid the heat of the day and become more active in twilight hours. Beautifully adapted to an arboreal life with strong limbs, a long tail for balance, and broad padded feet with sharp curved claws for gripping. They sleep in the trees too; any comfy branch will do!
Major threats to Tree Kangaroos are habitat destruction and defragmentation, vehicle strike, dog attack and hunting.
World Tree Kangaroo Day focuses on raising global awareness of the conservation efforts of multiple groups and projects. If you’re in a position to support them, the Tree Roo Rescue and Conservation Centre Ltd are a non-profit organization working tirelessly to rescue and rehabilitate orphaned and displaced tree roos.
Happy World Tree Roo Day to Banz and all his mates across Australia, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia.

Behind every welcoming moment, helping hand, and friendly smile is kindness in action. Human kindness has a way of creating something bigger than itself.
Big thanks to all of our vollies for so generously sharing themselves with us.
