Our Petrie Dream Team participated in the Moreton Bay Region ‘Battle of the Brains’, along with over 40 other teams representing different schools in the Region. They battled it out in 8 different categories, including Australian Iconography, STEM and even Food! Kassie, Lucian and Amelia did a remarkable job together, enjoying the fun of what was an awesome night. Congratulations Dream Team!

Today our school participated in "Together Sing." This is a program to promote the benefits of group singing.

The Junior & Senior Singers performed the song "We are Here" by Louise Kelly. After their performance we invited the whole school to join in and sing too! It was an amazing time of singing together. Thanks to all of the families who came along and joined in!

Congratulations to the latest recipient of the Principal's award.

Christian in Year 6 has been given the award for being inclusive and supportive of new students, helping new students settle in to our school.

I will continue to visit classrooms and check on student work and reward effort and achievement where I can.

Our little explorers had a WILD time at playgroup today!
We had lots of fun exploring all things animals with a safari sensory tray, creating cheeky grasshopper handprints 🦗, practising fine motor skills with dog and cat threading 🐶🐱, getting creative with animal stamping 🐾 and splashing into an ocean-themed water sensory tray 🌊🐠.
There was plenty of exploring, creating, sensory play and learning happening as our little ones enjoyed another fun-filled playgroup morning!
