In Term 3, Year 10 Wood Technology students designed and manufactured laminated chopping boards, completing all stages of the design process from concept development through to production.
The finished products showcase their growing technical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship. Well done, Year 10!

Yesterday, we had a wonderful excursion to ECU city campus to see what is on offer at their University. It was an incredible building with amazing architecture, The students were fascinated. Afterwards we went to Palace Cinemas for our own private screening of Wicked, which is part of our comparative drama study assessment. The day went perfectly and the students made us all proud.

As part of the Earth and Space Science unit, some Year 9 students investigated changes to the solubility of carbon dioxide with changing temperatures, linking it to the effects of greenhouse gases on oceans.

The Year 10 students learned how space exploration contributes to knowledge of the formation and evolution of the Earth and universe by simulating mineral exploration on Earth using the same techniques that are used to find information about our solar system.
