The tips below help reduce your carbon footprint by lowering the volume of library items transited across the LibrariesSA Network.

** Borrowed it here? Return it here!
When you return items to the same library you borrowed them from, you help reduce courier transportation between libraries, fuel usage, costs to the LibrariesSA Network and your carbon footprint.

** Need extra time to collect your hold?
Extending your pickup date will sometimes save an item travelling twice. Ask our staff if they are able to extend your pickup date.

** No longer need a hold?
Please cancel any holds you no longer need. Ask our staff for assistance or follow the easy steps at: www.libraries.sa.gov.au/suspendcancel

** Going on holidays?
You can suspend your holds if going on holidays or if you’ve got too many books in your ‘To be read’ pile. Just ask our staff for assistance or follow the easy steps at: www.libraries.sa.gov.au/suspendcancel

A cranky bear and a very hungry caterpillar thank all the amazing students, staff and Kindy, COGS & Rhyme Time friends for joining our parade this morning 🚍🐻🍎🍐🍉📖
