Hundreds of South Australian families will access three-year-old preschool sooner than expected - including at Nido Early School at Black Forest!
Nearly 50 services have been brought forward under the state’s $625m Flying Start investment.
I welcomed the Premier Peter Malinauskas and Education Minister Lucy Hood MP to our neighbourhood to make the announcement today.

It’s Public Education Day 🍎
Public education changed my life, giving me stability, focus, exercise and friendship - plus the education to be a journalist ✏️ and now lawmaker.
These days it’s an important part of my son’s life with playgroup at Black Forest Primary School on Wednesdays 🐓 🐹
To every SSO, educator, teacher, lecturer and principal across South Australia: thank you for changing lives like ours every day.

Very honoured to be re-elected as Chair of the Parliament’s Environment, Resources and Development Committee.
Last term we issued scores of recommendations to preserve our urban tree canopy, examined umpteen re-zoning plans, the Greater Adelaide Regional Plan, PFAS contamination and much more.
Can’t wait to get cracking on the policy work ahead in these huge and important portfolios.
