On Monday evening I had the pleasure of attending the World Teacher's Day celebration at Mingara with Mrs Rodwell. Each school with enrolments under 750 students is allowed to nominate one teacher to receive the award. This year our staff voted for the person on staff that they believe best exemplifies the qualities and values of Public Education in NSW. Mrs. Rebecca Rodwell truly adds a lot of value to our school. Not only is she a great netball coach, a super teacher and all round fantastic person but she definitely delivers in terms of excellence, service, trust, accountability and above all other things, integrity. Congratulations to Mrs. Rodwell!

Stage 3 Camp Diary – Day 3 ☀️🏓 🥞

Our final day at Point Wolstoncroft! It’s been a fantastic few days filled with new experiences and plenty of activities to keep us busy.

Some student highlights:
- Stand-up paddle boarding (Kael)
- Kayaking (Emma)
- Pancakes for breakfast on my birthday (Lui)
- Winning the sailing race (Zara & Hunter)
- Sticky date pudding for dessert (Mr Makepeace)

Buses are expected to arrive back at school at approximately 2:15pm, in time for the end-of-day bell. Medication will need to be signed out before being returned.

Lots of great memories made and a very good night’s sleep ahead! 🤩

Stage 3 Camp Diary - Day 1 🛶🚴‍♂️🏹

What a fantastic first day at Point Wolstoncroft! Students (and teachers!) have been busy kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, bike riding and trying their hand at archery. There’s been plenty of adventure, teamwork and fun along the way!

We also had a special reason to celebrate, with two of our students celebrating their birthdays at camp! Bring on Day 2 🙌
