The Plus 55 Social Group's meeting on Wednesday was a hit! With guest speaker Nick visiting to speak about the work and collection from Australian Q***r Archives, introductions from Plus 55 committee members KJ and Tom, and the Victorian Pride Centre's Brett giving an update with his special guest, Paris 💙💚🏳️‍🌈

History was made in the City of Casey this weekend as the transgender flag was raised at Bunjil Place for the first time.
Lifeview’s Diversity Manager, Annitta, was honoured to share the story of one of our residents, a woman who, after a lifetime of service, adventure and quiet perseverance, finally embraced her true self later in life. Her journey moved everyone in the room and reminded us why visibility and acceptance matter at every age.
A heartfelt thank-you to all who attended and helped make this moment so special. 🌈💙

Lifeview was thrilled to partner with our great friends at Victorian Pride Centre yesterday for the official name and logo launch for our new +55 group! 🌈✨

+55 will meet at the Victorian Pride Centre for various different social events throughout the year, creating important connection among members. We've seen massive demand since we launched the group earlier this year, with attendees from as far away as Brisbane travelling to attend.

Thank you to our special guests, Victorian Commissioner for LGBTIQA+ Communities Joe Ball, VPC CEO Paul Horwell, Switchboard Victoria, Lifeview's Executive Director Peter Reilly, CEO Samantha Jewell, members of the Lifeview board and, last but certainly not least, superstar Bobbee Pinn for the trivia 💙💚

Lifeview Willow Wood residents joined the City of Casey Seniors Afternoon at Cranbourne West for a fabulous round of Drag Bingo full of laughs, colour, and plenty of sass! 💃🎉💅

🎂🎉 Lifeview’s 14th birthday party was a sweet success! Residents loved sampling the treats, but the real question is, which home's presentation was the best? 👀🍰💚💙

💜🌈 Lifeview came together for Wear It Purple Day! 🌈💜

Residents and staff proudly wore purple today to show support, raise awareness, and celebrate inclusivity and diversity.

Lifeview homes and the corporate office have recently marked IDAHOBIT – the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism and Transphobia 🏳️‍🌈

Observed on May 17th, IDAHOBIT commemorates the day in 1990 when the World Health Organization declassified homosexuality as a mental disorder – a milestone in the journey toward equality.

As a proudly Rainbow Tick-accredited organisation, Lifeview strives to create an inclusive, safe and welcoming space for everyone. Residents and staff have made heartfelt pledges on how we will support equality, kindness and respect in our daily lives. 🫶✨

Lifeview staff came together in record numbers on Sunday to march in the Midsumma Pride March — our biggest turnout yet! 🎉

Despite the heat, nothing could dampen our spirits. The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and a whole lot of Pride! 🌞💖

The annual Midsumma Festival Carnival Day is one of our team's favourite events on the calendar.

The iconic day highlights the opening weekend of the fabulous three-week .

We were thrilled to once again join the celebration of in the beautiful Alexandra Gardens along the Yarra River in the CBD.

We are immensely proud of our status and our ongoing Foundation Partnership with our great friends at Victorian Pride Centre

A very special Marigold Lunch today with the fabulous Sally Goldner AM joining Lifeview residents for a chat and to answer questions.

The lunch was a great opportunity for residents from multiple Lifeview homes to come together at Willow Wood for the special get-together.

Lifeview was the first private aged care provider to achieve Rainbow Tick accreditation and has been a Foundation partner of the Victorian Pride Centre since 2019.
