Fire and Rescue NSW Station 428 Queanbeyan is currently seeking committed and community-minded individuals to join our team as on-call firefighters.
This is a rewarding opportunity to serve the local community while gaining nationally recognised training and valuable life skills.
About the Role:
On-call firefighters respond to a wide range of emergency incidents including structural fires, bushfires, road accidents, and hazardous material incidents. They also participate in training, community education, and fire prevention activities.
This role is ideally suited to individuals with daytime availability—such as shift workers, stay-at-home parents, self-employed individuals, or those working from home—who are looking to contribute meaningfully to their community.
