📚 Author Talk - Tess Woods

Join us for a special talk with author Tess Woods at 1.00pm this coming Tuesday, 22 September 2026 at Quirindi Library.

Born in Alexandria to an Egyptian family, Tess draws on her rich cultural heritage in her latest novel, The Cairo Bridal Shop.

Set against the backdrop of modern Egypt, the story follows three sisters working in their family's bridal boutique as they challenge tradition, fight for their futures, and discover the strength within themselves. Inspired by the powerful legacy of ancient pharaoh queens, it's a captivating tale of family, courage and resilience.

🎟️ This is a free event, but bookings are essential. Please call the Quirindi Library on (02) 6746 2350 during business hours to secure your seat.
