Ruby hated swimming but reluctantly did it for the fitness. Then something clicked and she turned 1-2 sessions a week into 4-5 sessions per week. She smashed her PBs every comp and decided she was a swimmer.
The benefits of her swimming doesn't only show in her impressive PBs but also out of the pool. When her mum signed her up to a 10km jetty to jetty run without any training she had to hope she had the fitness, endurance and grit to get through the 10km. Much to Ruby's surprise, she did it with ease. Her swimming has made her so fit and healthy with amazing endurance and she didn't even realise it. Keep up the good work Ruby!
