Tournament of Minds
As our families have seen on Compass, congratulations to our two teams who competed in the 2026 Tournament of Minds. The aim of this event is to enhance the potential of students by developing diverse skills, enterprise, time management and discipline to work collaboratively within a challenging and competitive environment. Students, who compete against other schools, are required to solve demanding, open-ended challenges, demonstrating their skills and talents in an exciting, vibrant and public way.
Our STEM team (pictured below) made it to the state final and placed second! An outstanding result! I would like to thank our High Ability Practice Leader, Mr Datson, who facilitated practice time at school and attended the weekend competitions. His dedication and commitment to ensuring the best for our students is greatly appreciated.

Outstanding NAPLAN Results
We are proud to celebrate the outstanding NAPLAN results achieved by our Year 3 and Year 5 students this year, who achieved above both similar schools and schools in our network in all five curriculum areas assessed, except for year 5 writing where our students achieved at the same level as similar schools.
We are now seeing the impact of our documented, whole school curriculum and consistent, evidence-based instruction that have been embedded school-wide over the past few years.
Congratulations to our incredible students, dedicated staff and supportive families for these outstanding results.
