INCIDENT - M80 Ring Road rollover clear

UPDATE 8.16am

All Altona-bound lanes have been re-opened on the M80 Ring Road near Ballarat Road, Ardeer following a collision and rollover.

Thanks for your patience as emergency services conducted investigations and crews worked to safely remove the vehicles from the roadway.

Traffic remains heavily congested from the Calder Freeway with delays of up to 35 minutes. Delays should ease quickly.

--------------

UPDATE 7.54am

Two Altona-bound lanes are closed on the M80 Ring Road between Ballarat Road and Fitzgerald Road, due to a collision and rollover.

Two lanes are now open with speed set at 40km/h, with queues back to the Calder Freeway resulting in delays of up to 40 minutes.

Please allow extra time and consider your alternatives include Station Road, McIntyre Road and Anderson Road, or the Calder and Tullamarine freeways.

-----------------

Three of the four Altona-bound lanes are closed on the M80 Ring Road near Ballarat Road, Ardeer due to a collision and rollover. Just one lane is open for traffic heading towards the West Gate Freeway.

⏱ Current delays up to 30 minutes, however this is expected to increase until additional lanes are able to be opened.

🚨 Please allow extra time as emergency services work to investigate and clear the incident from the freeway.

↗ Nearby alternatives to the M80 Ring Road include Station Road and Deer Park through Cairnlea and Deer Park; or McIntyre Road and Anderson Road through Sunshine North and Sunshine. You can use Fitzgerald Road, the Western Freeway or Boundary Road to reach the M80 Ring Road.

👮 Victoria Police, Fire Rescue Victoria, Ambulance Victoria and Transport Victoria's Incident Response Service are attending, and lanes will re-open only when it is safe to do so.
🚦Transport Victoria’s signals team is monitoring traffic conditions and will adjust nearby traffic lights to help minimise congestion on surrounding detour routes.
