Nico is a freestyle artist, TEDx performer, and author of The Silent World That Won’t Stop Talking. He’s led workshops across Australia and around the world, inspiring people to express themselves through poetry and freestyle rap.

Carmen has been freestyling for three years, bringing the practice to others through workshops and intimate rap circles. She uses freestyle rap as a tool for self-excavation, helping people push past their comfort zones and into new layers of self-discovery.

Proudly Q is a welcoming space for LGBTIQIA+ young people, those who are questioning, and allies to connect, share experiences, and support one another.

This fortnightly program offers a safe and inclusive space to:
✨ connect with others
✨ learn new skills
✨ feel part of a community

Session topics will be shaped by you, giving you the opportunity to get the most out of Proudly Q. We’ll always have activities, helpful information, access to resources, and of course free snacks🍪

We’ll be running two age-specific programs:
👥 Ages 10–14
👥 Ages 15–25
