Deb Hamblin Rockingham is my Reason. I was elected by the community in 2021 as the first popularly elected Mayor after contributing many years as a Councillor, including 8yrs as Deputy Mayor.

I am a passionate advocate for our wonderful city, Rockingham. Welcome to my page. I’m using social media to share news, events and information with our community. However, in order to run such a platform, having an understanding of what is expected from both the administrators and the users of the page is best for all parties concerned. That is the purpose of these Guidelines. Further considering the recent High Court Ruling that gives a clear understanding that admins of both groups and pages are personally responsible for all content on this page, we feel this will ensure that we are all on the same “page”. Respecting Other Users
These guidelines are to help foster a community that is respectful and that everyone visiting our pages can share and express their opinions in a constructive way. Posts or comments, which do not comply with these Guidelines and Facebook’s Terms, will be deleted and the instigator may also be banned from further posts and our page. I reserve the right to remove without notice or justification any posts or links to other pages or posts, which I deem:
• Discriminatory in any way
• Obscene or offensive
• Personal or sensitive information
• Have myself or any other follower feel bullied
• Defamatory
• Overtly sexual or explicit
• Threatening or describing violent events or behaviours
• Refers to or encourages the use of illegal drugs
• Is written to be what I feel is antagonistic rather than productive
• Illegal or encouraging of illegal behaviours (including but not limited to the violation of current Australian copyright, intellectual property and privacy laws)
• Harassing or hateful to our business or person, our employees, stakeholders, associates and suppliers
• Spam, repetitive and non-relevant
• Prejudicial, inflammatory, vigilante or ‘call to action’ comments
• Unsolicited selling or advertising by commercial enterprises

If you would like to report an inappropriate comment or post for us to review, send us a private message through this page. Responding to You
• The administrators regulate our page. However, at our discretion not every individual posts will be responded to and we reserve the right to respond within two working days.
• The act of ‘following’ or ‘liking’ an individual person, group, organisation, business, event or location through the social media platforms does not indicate that I endorse the views, products, services or activities pertaining to the ‘followed’ or ‘liked’ group, business or entity.
