Last night Rosebud Fire Brigade celebrated their 84th Annual Dinner at Rosebud RSL. It was a wonderful night of celebration and acheivement as well as a time to remember those who left us too early this year and couldnt be with us at the dinner.
Thank you to Lt Wightman for all the work organising and coordinating the night.

The special award of the night was the presentation of a Brigade Honarary Life Membership, awarded to Captain Josh Ellott-Batt. The Brigade kept this a secret from Josh from when it was decided in March at a special secret meeting through until it was presented last night.

Congratulations to all award winners and to all Brigade members and their partners. Without you the Brigade would not be what it is.

Here is too the next 12 months and exciting times ahead at Rosebud Fire Brigade.

🔥 2026 FIREFIGHTER STAIR CLIMB 🔥

A huge congratulations to our Stairclimb team for taking on the 2026 Firefighter Stair Climb. Well. done to those who climbed as well as those who volunteered to support our climbers.

The challenge was 28 floors, wearing up to 25kg of turnout gear and, for the first time, being on air. 👨‍🚒🔥

The team worked hard raising a massive combined total of $21,229 🧑‍🚒🔥

A massive thank you to everyone who donated and supported them. Your generosity is helping raise funds for Peter Mac Cancer Foundation, Lifeline and the 000Foundation, supporting the fight against cancer, depression and su***de.

💰 $1,085,925 raised so far! 💰
