A warm thank you to Mary Doyle MP for visiting our school to share key insights about leadership with our Year 6 cohort and to present us with the Australian, Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander flags.
One of the best parts of my job is visiting our fantastic local schools. Last week I visited Karoo Primary School in Rowville to give them new Australian, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags for their flagpoles. I also spoke to the Year 6 students about the importance of leadership, and how they can be leaders in their school community, regardless of if they hold a formal leadership position or not. I wish the Year 6s at Karoo all the best for their final year of primary school.

🟢🟡KPS Leadership Assembly 🟡🟢
Our Leadership assembly was held on Friday 13th March, which was a proud moment for our school, as we presented our Student Representative Council with their badges 👍
These roles are an important part of our school community, providing students with the opportunity to develop leadership skills, represent their peers, and make a positive impact across the school. We are incredibly proud of each student who has been elected by their peers and taken on this responsibility.
The students were presented their badges by Mr Kim Wells - MP for Rowville, who congratulated the students and also shared key insights about leadership with our school community.
We look forward to seeing their leadership in action throughout the year and the positive contributions they will make to our school community 🌟

🟡🟢 🐝Thank you for our KPS Working Bee 🟡🟢🐝
A big thank you to everyone who came along to our School Working Bee! 🌿🛠️
Your time, effort and community spirit made a real difference, as we worked together to improve our school environment. The jobs of gardening, sand and rock moving, as well as sprucing up our School Garden were finished quickly with many hands helping!! It was wonderful to see families, students and staff connecting, lending a hand and taking pride in our school.
Spending time at the end to celebrate with a sausage sizzle, drink and zooper dooper topped off a great morning! 🌭
We truly appreciate your support in making our school such a great place for everyone! 💙
