BACK TO SCHOOL BOOST

The Back to school boost helps families with school expenses for all students in Prep to Year 6.

In 2027, the annual credit will increase from $100 to $150 per student.

Use your remaining 2026 credit for end-of-year school expenses, including Year 6 graduation items. You can check your balance on your account via QParents, Statements that were emailed on 8/10/26 or you can email [email protected]. https://www.qld.gov.au/backtoschool/boost

Prep outdoor learning.

We started our outdoor learning for Term 4 with a bang!

As part of our English unit, Mrs Castle encouraged students to build a shelter for the character of Dove from the story “How the birds got their colours”.

Natural materials were gathered and many different creative shelters were made. Our Maths activities included using materials from nature (sticks leaves, rocks) to make AB, AABB and AAB patterns and tracing our bodies with chalk on the concrete then used Unifex blocks to measure how tall we were.

A great way to start the term!
