💗🎀 BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 🎀💗
Our Community Health Centre team is wearing pink to help raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of looking after our breast health! 🌸💕
Breast cancer can affect anyone, and early detection matters. Knowing what is normal for your body and being aware of any changes can make a difference.
💗 Here are a few important reminders: 🌸 Get to know what is normal for your breasts. 🌸 See your healthcare professional if you notice any new or unusual changes, such as a lump, thickening, ni**le changes or changes to the skin. 🌸 Keep up to date with recommended breast screening. 🌸 Encourage your family and friends to prioritise their breast health too.
🎀 Need information about breast screening? The BreastScreen Australia program offers free screening mammograms for eligible women. In Australia, women aged 50–74 are routinely invited to screen every two years, and women aged 40–49 or 75 and over can also access screening.
📞 Call BreastScreen on 13 20 50 for information about booking a breast screening appointment.
Let’s keep the conversation going, support one another and spread awareness this month and beyond. 💗
From all of us at your Community Health Centre, remember: your health matters, and so do you! 🌷
