What do you get when you bring together entertainment icons Paula Nagel and Peter Goers to share the stories of Salisbury? Plenty of laughter, reminiscing and good times!
It was a full house for our History Month event at Salisbury Community Hub as Paula reflected on her upbringing in Salisbury - including her time living on John Street, attending Salisbury Primary School, and some fun dinner parties.
Thank you to all our guests, it was a wonderful time looking back on our history with some local legends.

Meet Bagster Road Community Centre volunteer Adrian. His volunteering journey began after spending time at the centre, where he felt inspired by the team – especially the volunteers – and wanted to give back to the community that has so warmly adopted him.
"Making a difference in peoples’ lives, even if it’s just offering someone a cup of coffee and a sympathetic ear, is unbelievably fulfilling. Meeting new and interesting people is always an enjoyable opportunity that I relish."
Adrian brings strong people skills, cultural awareness, and steady calm to his role. He says volunteering helped bring 'normalcy' back into his life, given him the chance to make a real difference, and even led to a great new friendship.

Soft plastics recycling bins have returned to all metropolitan Woolworths stores in South Australia.
This means you can easily drop off your soft plastics, such as bread bags, chip packets and wrappers, and they will be recycled into new products such as building materials and food grade packaging.
Find out more at whichbin.sa.gov.au
You read that right – soft plastics recycling is back!
Your clean and dry soft plastics can now be dropped off to the dedicated soft plastic recycling bins located at the front of all metropolitan Woolworths stores in South Australia.
In partnership with Soft Plastics Stewardship Australia (SPSA), these soft plastics will be recycled into new products such as building materials and food grade packaging, helping to create a circular economy.
If you can't access one of these locations, soft plastics should only be placed in your red/blue landfill bin – never in your yellow recycling bin or green organics bin.
