Active since 2018 and incorporated in 2019, SSAP is a not-for-profit group of local volunteers with a passion for the visual arts and doing things - facilitating, curating and promoting visual arts, music and community gardens and the general amenity of Sandringham Village and foreshore.
Les Rausz along with Ian Cochrane and Sue Clayton are the inaugural founders of Sandy Street Art Project with the initial aim to paint over the ever-increasing amount of graffiti present in our village. To date they have facilitated a number of murals and have progressed to many wide and varied community projects. The group has grown significantly and remains an important part of the community.
