You can have a garage sale any weekend of the year. Here’s why joining us for the Garage Sale Trail is just a little bit more special:

💸 Make money - the average seller pockets $499 while freeing up space at home.

🎉 Turn it into a party – add music, lemonade or lawn games and make it a thrifty street party!

🏡 No garage? No problem - Sell from your yard, unit block, school, community hall or join a local market.

🌏 Make an impact – together, sellers save 418 tonnes of stuff from landfill.

👫 Unplug & reconnect – spend the day with neighbours, family and friends.

It’s easy, fun and only takes a few minutes to register.

Where do your un**es or knickers go to die? Do you put them in the rubbish bin? or try to pass them off as donation worthy and sneak them into your bag of donations?

Synthetic un**es will live in landfills for a very long time, while natural fibres like cotton break down and release potent greenhouse gasses. It's a tricky situation, but knowing the difference between something that's suitable for donation and something that's reached the end of its life is important.

Remember: if it's stained, stretched, threadbare, worn out, broken or you wouldn't give it to a friend, it probably isn't right for donation.

Find out all of the amazing ways your old (clean) un**es and clothes could live on. If you have clothes that really aren't suitable for your local op shop, choose a textile recovery and recycling service like Resmart or Underwear for Humanity and they'll handle the rest! ♻️

Update: UPPARELL do not take underwear as previously mentioned (thank you wonderful community for suggesting other options!)
