Entry into force of the India-Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) marks a new milestone in bilateral economic relations.
The Agreement opens new opportunities for trade, investment and employment, with zero-duty access on 98.08% of Oman’s tariff lines covering 99.38% of bilateral trade value. It is expected to boost exports, strengthen MSMEs, support labour-intensive sectors and create new avenues for Indian professionals, while safeguarding sensitive sectors such as dairy and agriculture.
A landmark step towards a deeper economic partnership, shared prosperity and mutually beneficial growth.
