Hi members! Our partner, RACC Australia Migration Agent and Education Agent would like to give updates on Temporary Graduate Visa (TR 485) starting 1 July 2024.
--
1 July changes are in effect as per new regulations.

• You can apply for TR 485 as a main applicant only once
• Age limit: 35 years
• 2 Years for Bachelor/Master coursework
• Additional year for studying in regional area

You can apply TR 485 only once, so if you are contemplating between applying for TR 485 or, a further course, you may wish to consider applying for the course.

If you are considering to apply for skilled migration, you need to take the right decision at the right moment, as 2 years is a very short time to accumulate points, get a skills assessment, lodge expression, wait for an invitation and wait for the grant.

Unsure about applying for a course or TR 485 (Graduate Visa)? RACC Australia Migration Agent and Education Agent is able to help you!

---

Following the Migration review at the end of last year, the proposed changes are expected to be in effect in the coming months.

Proposed changes:
⚈Applicant must be under the age of 35.
⚈Duration TR 485 for a minimum 2 years Bachelor/Master (course work) will be for 2 years.
⚈English language requirement for TR 485 will be IELTS 6.5 overall score (or, equivalent)

📢 However, you can still apply for a Graduate visa (TR 485) which has the existing settings, and possibly get up to 5 years of TR.

🪧If you are already holding an existing TR 485 visa, you may possibly be eligible to extend your visa for up to 2 more years.

Recently, we have had a lot successful 4-5 years TR 485 grants and TR 485 extensions.
✅ 2 years TR 485 extension for existing TR 485 holders
✅ 4 years TR 485 visa grant for Bachelors
✅ 5 years TR 485 visa grant for Masters
