A world where power and decision-making flow from the bottom up and society is organised for peoples’ as

In 1966, 200 Gurindji workers walked off the job at Wave Hill Station. The eight-year standoff became a movement. What began as a demand for fair wages became a fight for something far greater: the return of stolen land.
Join us for a free screening of this documentary, followed by a group discussion on how ordinary people take on an entire system and what Wave Hill still has to teach us.

✊ Build Power. Fight Back. Organise to Win.
When we organise in the workplace, we can change everything — but organising is a skill we sharpen together.
Join us for a full-day workshop covering the essentials of how to organise your co-workers, build the union, and take collective action.
The day includes three sessions:
1. Beating apathy
How to have effective 1:1 organising conversations and move co-workers into collective action.
2. Building a dream team
How to map your workplace, identify leaders, and build a team of organisers.
3. Turning up the heat
How to run an escalating workplace campaign that builds the union, strengthens solidarity, and wins.
RSVP in comments.

In 1965–66, the Indonesian military crushed a rising popular movement with mass murder. A million communists, unionists, women's organisers, and minority groups were slaughtered. A crime the world still refuses to name.
Join us for a screening of The Look of Silence to honour the fallen and talk about what it means to fight like hell for the living today.
Drinks available at the bar, snacks provided.

This Sunday we are joining the Protest: Stop the far right in Brisbane and saying loudly and clearly that nazi's and white supremacists are not welcome on our streets.
Solidarity with migrants and Indigenous people! No to racism, no to fascism!

This Saturday stand with Camp Sovereignty, stand with migrant communities, stand against racism and fascism.
The workers united, will enver be defeated.
Sovereignty Never Ceded - Rally Against Racism!
On August 31, racists and open neo-Nazis marched through cities across Australia.
They demanded an end to migration, called for mass deportations, and carried out violent attacks on Camp Sovereignty while assaulting First Nations People.
Our answer must be solidarity—solidarity with Camp Sovereignty and First Nations people, with migrants, and with the people of Palestine.
On September 13 we’ll take to the streets to show that Brisbane stands united against racism. We refuse to let hate divide the working class or pit us against one another.
Join us. Stand against racism. Stand with First Nations people. Stand for solidarity.
