285 students, 42 acres, and one teacher. That's the scale of the agricultural education program Caitlin Crowe has built at St George State High School, in South West Queensland.

From shearing sheds to sensor-monitored crop trials, she's proving that hands-on learning is what turns curious kids into future farmers.

She's passionate about giving students the best headstart in a constantly evolving, agtech world.

"We're setting our kids up for careers in jobs that don't exist yet," she said.

🔥 FLASHBACK FRIDAY TO 2006 🔥
Twenty years ago, St George State High School students and staff took part in a fire drill with a difference!

The administration building was filled with smoke, and Year 12 student Ben Lawson played the role of a missing student. After “tripping” while attempting to escape, Ben was rescued by firefighters Gavin Waters and Peter Riley before being treated by ambulance officers.

The realistic exercise gave students an important insight into the seriousness of a fire emergency and involved our local fire, police and ambulance crews. 🚒🚓🚑

Do you remember this memorable drill from November 2006?
