🚐💙 A BIG SHOUT OUT TO COMMONWEALTH BANK! 💚

We’d like to give a huge thank you to the Commonwealth Bank for providing GBSS with the opportunity to apply for a grant, and for the fantastic news that our application was successful! 🎉

Thanks to this funding, we have been able to purchase a new vehicle to add to our fleet, helping us continue to provide reliable and accessible support to the people we support across our community.

We’re incredibly grateful for the support from the Commonwealth Bank and their investment in local organisations like GBSS. 💙💚

Thank you, Commonwealth Bank, for helping us keep our community moving! 🚐✨

💛Today is Yellow Ribbon Day, an annual event held on September 16 to thank and honor the more than 27,000 Rural Fire Service Queensland (RFSQ) volunteers. 💛
About Yellow Ribbon Day: The date is every year on September 16.
The purpose is to show visible support and start positive conversations about the work of rural firefighters. It is not a fundraiser. It honors around 27,600+ volunteers across nearly 1,400 brigades who protect 93% of Queensland.
To participate, wear something yellow or pin a yellow ribbon to say thank you to the volunteers who wear the yellow coats and ride the yellow trucks. Please help us celebrate our GBSS rural fire firefighters - Kayne, Bill, Jason, Zali, and Liz.
