We are incredibly excited to have two juvenile Australian Lungfish (Neoceratodus forsteri) available for auction at the 2026 ANGFA Convention!

These fish have been generously provided by HinterNoosa Hatchery. HinterNoosa Hatchery is the largest producer of Australian Lungfish and the only facility with an Approved Aquaculture Program for the species. As a Gold Member of Ornamental Fish International (OFI), they are a leading representative in international fish trade and put science and sustainability at the forefront of their practices.

The available lungfish will be 10-12cm in length and come with individual identification tags as required by CITES regulations. Only Convention attendees are permitted to bid in the auction.

My rostratus babies doing their thing, they really are weird little fish! They now know my fat head appearing above their tank means food time, they are growing at an incredible rate.

The Little galaxias- Galaxiella toourtkoourt, started early but have really only just started powering along, some rather plump girls, eggs ready to hatch in about 48 hours, and fry at 4days old. Light coloured mops are great for us to see development but usually not preferred by fish, these seem to be the exception to that rule đŸ˜€
