The City of Subiaco's Native Plant Subsidy Scheme has been extended until Saturday 13 June 🌼🍃
Residents can still purchase up to 40 native seedlings for just $3 each from Apace Nursery in North Fremantle, while stocks last. Remember to bring proof of address and photo ID!

Over the past three years, the City of Subiaco has been transforming the way residents, businesses and visitors access our services, making it easier to submit applications, request services, make payments and track progress online.
The project, which commenced in 2023, has seen more TechnologyOne modules go live in this period than any other local government in Western Australia.

Six heritage grants have been awarded by Council to support conservation works on heritage properties across the City 🏡
The grants help fund works that conserve and enhance the heritage significance of local properties, including tuckpointing repairs, re-roofing and repainting of original external elements.

The City of Subiaco is continuing to actively monitor and manage the impacts of polyphagous shot-hole borer (PSHB) across our suburbs 🌳
While PSHB activity is expected to reduce during winter, residents are encouraged to stay vigilant for signs such as tiny entry holes, staining, sugary residue or branch dieback.
Community awareness and early reporting remain important in helping protect Subiaco’s urban tree canopy.

City residents donated more than 6000kg of items through this year’s Good Sammy household collection service! ♻️💚
From clothing and shoes to toys and linen, the donations helped give quality items a second life while keeping them out of landfill.
More than 800 households took part in this year’s collection, helping avoid almost 100,000kg of carbon emissions.

We spy a new mural underway in Subi 👀
Shakey is in town and hard at work at a brand-new, photorealistic mural at 325 Barker Road, just a few steps from the Salvos Stores Subiaco!
The mural features the The Salvation Army WA Corps Band, and was inspired by an image from a celebratory event in 1952 when Subiaco was officially declared a City.
It's expected to completed in the coming weeks - stay tuned for the grand reveal!

More than 100 pre-primary students from Subiaco Primary joined Mayor David McMullen, City of Subiaco this morning to celebrate National Simultaneous Storytime at Subiaco Library and Museum 📚
The Mayor read this year’s featured book, Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller, as part of the nationwide event celebrating reading, storytelling and community.
