Weather is quite miserable, but come down to Bunnings today for a couple of snags and support us! We're here until 4pm today!

You will find our awesome volunteers running the Bunnings BBQ this Sunday down at the Sunbury store. Come down, say hello and buy a sausage or two!
Every snag sold helps CareWorks to continue to provide food and essential support to those doing it tough in Sunbury and surrounds.

Today we brought our community together for our free monthly lunch, serving up tasty Pasta Bolognese, followed by baked apple and ice cream for dessert!

Our community lunch is all about connection, friendship, and making sure everyone has a place at the table. Everyone is always welcome, and there’s no better way to spend a couple of hours together than sharing a meal with a smile.

GOOD MORNING, SUNBURY COMMUNITY!

After a busy few weeks at CareWorks, we’ve found ourselves in need of cereal for our foodbank — and we’d love your help!

We are currently in need of all kinds of cereal, including:

🥣 Weet-Bix
🥣 Rice Bubbles
🥣 Cornflakes
🥣 Sultana Bran
🥣 Nutri-Grain
🥣 Muesli
…and anything else your family enjoys!

If you’re able to add an extra box or two to your shopping trolley, it would make a wonderful difference to a local family doing it tough.

💙 SEPTEMBER AT CAREWORKS 💙

September was another big month at CareWorks Foodbank Sunbury!

* 379 food hampers provided
* 1,004 people supported across our Sunbury community

Behind every number is a person, a family, a story and often a difficult season of life. We are incredibly grateful that we can be here to walk alongside people when they need a little extra support.

Our new service model is making a real positive difference - giving people the opportunity to choose their own pantry items is helping us create a more welcoming experience, restores dignity and ensures families receive food that best suits their needs.

At CareWorks, we believe that no one should feel ashamed or alone when asking for help. We exist to show compassion, offer practical support and care for our community — and we are so thankful to the wonderful volunteers, donors, food rescue partners and supporters who help make this possible. ❤️

Together, we are making a difference. 💙

Every week, CareWorks Foodbank Sunbury supports local people and families doing it tough. Our shelves are always in need of essential food and household items.

💙 One extra item can make a real difference.

Our most needed items this week include: Instant Coffee, Tinned Tuna, Noodles, Pasta Sauce, Toilet Paper & Biscuits.

Next time you shop, please consider picking up one extra item to donate to CareWorks Foodbank. You can drop off items to the Sunbury Library drop point or direct to us at the Community Centre - 531 Elizabeth Drive.
