🌲 Looking for a work experience opportunity for a Year 9–12 student?

From 2-6 November, the Green Triangle Forest Industries Hub, together with GTE, LITA Training, and support from the Department for Education is offering a Forest Industries Work Experience Week in Mount Gambier!

This isn't your traditional work experience! Rather than spending the week at one workplace, students will get to explore the whole forest and wood products industry, from growing and managing forests through to harvesting, machinery and timber manufacturing.

Throughout the week, students will visit local businesses, meet people working in the industry and discover the wide range of career opportunities available right here in our region.

We'll also introduce students to our paid school-based Timber and Wood Products Operations Traineeship, which offers the opportunity to gain real workplace experience, earn while they learn and work towards a nationally recognised qualification while still at school!
